Here's a little bit about me...
Hi,
My name is Anne-Claire, but everybody calls me Anna.
Throughout my first career in dance, I have always been interested in harmonising movement in my own body (whilst performing) and others' (whilst teaching and choreographing). My transition into manual therapy developed very naturally and as a massage therapist I am particularly keen on supporting people to feel more comfortable in their own bodies and so facilitate smooth and effective performance in their world.
I graduated with a BTEC Level 5 Professional Diploma in Sports Massage and Remedial Soft Tissue Therapy at the North London School of Sports Massage and have attended a year long work placement as a Soft Tissue Therapist at the Royal Ballet School.
I now work mainly with dancers, performers and athletes but welcome people from every walk of life. I believe in tailoring treatments to everybody's specific needs and am especially keen on discovering, with you, the root cause of your discomfort, supporting you with making the necessary changes and plans that will make a difference in you body and in your life!
I am looking forward to welcoming you and starting your wellness journey from my Therapy Room in St. Albans.
